David Bybee's American Martial Arts has been offering instruction and training in martial arts since 2003. Located in Pinellas Park, FL David Bybee's American Martial Arts has produced champions in life as well as in the martial arts.

Headed by David Bybee (5th Degree Blackbelt and 3 times World Kickboxing Champion) and a staff of expert instructors and managers including Phillip Wood and Jessica Lewis, David Bybee's American Martial Arts offers a number of programs for physical fitness and instruction in Martial Arts.

David Bybee's American Martial Arts also offers an after school program with transportation and a daytime summer camp program.

Our Instructors & Staff Members

David Bybee is a 3X World Kickboxing Champion , Bronze Medalist in the WAKO Olympic World Championships in Belgrade, UK (2001), European Kickboxing Champion in Paris, France (2000), KRANE World Kickboxing Champion (1999), 2X World US Open Kickboxing Champion (1999 & 2000), ISKA United States Kickboxing Champion, ISKA South Eastern Kickboxing Champion, ISKA Florida State Kickboxing Champion, Florida State Boxing Champion (2000) and 3X member of Team USA (Kickboxing). Mr. Bybee is a 5th Degree Black Belt under the legendary Joe Lewis. In the process he has taught several champions not only in the ring but in life as well.

Phillip Wood is a 2nd Degree Black Belt Instructor and is an undefeated kickboxer with a record of 5 wins and 0 losses. He has been training for 5 years with Mr. Bybee and is an expert weapons teacher. He also is an assistant tumbling coach at our school.

Katie Stallo is our After School and Summer Camp Program Director. She runs our finely tuned curriculum for the kids when they come in from school. She was a former director for a well known day care facility and has brought her know how in to help run our kids programs.

Jessica Lewis is an after school associate and an advanced student in our program as well as leader of our Leadership Team. She is Katie's support along with Mr. Wood in running our successful After School and Summer Camp programs.
